I'm In Love

with this blog I've just discovered today.

Being a country girl at heart and loving all sorts of animals, this blog is now one of my favorites. And it's located in Huntington, WV - not far from where I was born!

Go visit Verde Farm when you get a minute. They've got the cutest animals and I am so envious!!

...thanks so much for coming by Sweet Nothings. I do hope you will come again soon.

I have made a few quilts..nothing fancy at all..patch work..9 patch..and I LOVE making the tops and HATE quilting them. I am using my mother's REALLY olden Singer and it is so hard to get all that quilt under and around and do a good job. I don't know how to sew so it makes it really hard to try to make a quilt. I did make each of my 10 grands a Nine Patch but I would love to make them all a prettier one.....someday. :))

Thank you for the link. what a beautiful blog (yours too, love your background photo) Over at Verde farm I read about our New Zealand native pigs, the Kunekune, which my husband and I recently fell in love with. Funny to read about a New Zealand native animal on an American blog.

What a beautiful farm! I just love the cottage. How nice it would be to spend the night there amongst the animals and gorgeous gardens. *sigh*

Brenda at Cozy Little House posted about them so I visited the other day. Those poor little ducklings in the snow were just the cutest.

Hope you are having a great weekend and that the weather has warmed up a bit. Best wishes, Tammy
