A Beautiful CQ Web Site

Good Morning, everybody!

I love crazy quilting but am a little intimidated by it, so I just keep saving articles and books about how to do it. :( While having my morning coffee and going through some of my favorite blogs, I followed the trail of comments to this incredibly gorgeous web site Pat Winter Gatherings. OMGosh - what an incredible place this is!!!

I am determined to learn how to do this kind of gorgeous needlework. I've wanted to for years but the time is NOW. Of course, I'm going to just have to buy Pat's new book she's mentioned. Look at some of her work:

Geez - here I go off on another impulsive project...and I wonder why my kitchen still hasn't been spring cleaned yet!

LOL Crazy Quilting is SO FUN and there are no rules so pretty much whatever you love is what you do! I love looking through CQmagonline.com for ideas in their articles and there is several years up too! Have fun!

Hi Phyllis, Thank you for such kind comments about my website. I am addicted to CQ as you can see. When you are ready to start, I can help you online if you wish.It looks hard, but it is so very easy. If you can sew on a button, you can CQ. I love it when someone discovers CQ and wants to play!
Thanks again.
Pat

Hi Phyllis,
Pat is one talented lady and you'll get it. Crazy quilts are so much fun.
Did you want to know if it was my original design on the quilt or blog page. The answer is yes on both. Well I had a website built. Thank you for dropping by and I'll be coming back,
Bonnie

Phyllis, Oh yes, Pat's work is incredible, isn't it! And hey...don't worry about the kitchen! The "white glove police" won't be arriving for awhile yet because of the snow! ;-)

Also...Tag, you're it! I'd love to invite you to participate in a getting-to-know-you blogging game. All you have to do is list 7 things about yourself that are wonderful or weird or whimsical or serious - whatever you'd like! Then invite and list 7 other bloggers. It's a great way for us to get to know one another and to find other beautiful and inspirational blogs. Hope you'll join in!

I'm always happy to see you visiting my blog and commenting - for taking the time, which is special to me!

Blessings,
Diane

Phyliss,

Thank you for visiting and your sweet words about my bird nest tutorial.

I absolutely love the sweet things Dawn creates, and she is such a such a giving and encouraging person.

The crazy quilt piec4 you have pictured is beautiful. I have no doubt you will be able to learn it, and will enjoy the process as well as the outcome.

Blessings,
Barbara Jean

Phyllis,
Wanted to leave a comment the other day and thanks to you changing that issue now I can. I also signed up elsewhere so I could leave comments just in case. You have done such beautiful handwork FOREVER so I see absolutely no reason whatsoever why you shouldn't be able to master making beautiful crazy quilts just like Nanny. You certainly have Nannie's blood in you, which is why you have "My Crumbs of Happiness" :)

Wow did you ever get me hooked on something else with these blogs (like I needed it).

Love, Susan
