Inflation

Last year I ordered a case (24 packets) of Hain's Vegetarian beef flavored gravy from Amazon.com. It cost $24.95.

Yesterday I ordered another case of the same thing and it now costs $36.90!!! That's a 50% price increase in one year!!!!

Isn't that crazy?! Too bad our paychecks don't do the same thing!!!

Prices have gone up a lot even here. I used to spend about 25 K D at the grocery store and now I don't get out of there for less than 40-KD or more. (That's an increase from say $75 to $120 -- and I'm not buying meat). Not much I can do about. And there are some things I just can't find at any of the small co-ops they have around here (which are cheaper). A small Yoplait yogurt that would be so cheap in the States, costs nearly $3 here -- crazy! Hope you have a good weekend. Tammy

Oh my goodness! That's a lot! I have seen that in local grocery stores, too, even our low cost Save-A-Lot store. :(

Thankfully we planted a garden again this year and will have at least some items put up for the winter.

Good grief! What is it made of? Was there a drought or a flood somewhere? I would call the company and inquire!
