...I planted this tree to commemorate the birth of my first grandchild.

I wasn't ready to become a grandmother yet. I've never been a "kid" kind of woman. But I sure do have fun with this little girl - my Rosebud.
How she and her tree have both grown!!

Hi Phyllis,
I was not ready to be a grandmother either! I was not a kid kind of girl either! But when David was born everything changed.. I fell hook line and sinker for that little face that looked at me so lovingly. Yes I did a lot of chasing him around!!

I don't have grandchildren yet but when I do, I just might plant a tree to honor the occasion too. It's a great idea and she is a cutie!
