Want a Little Spring?

I know a lot of you are still in the middle of wintery weather. It was very nice here today - 72 degrees. I took advantage of it and worked outside all afternoon (sometimes it's nice being layed off from work). I've been feeling rather aimless the last couple of days and not motivated to do anything, so working in the yard has helped me a little. Now that evening has come, I'm again feeling aimless so decided to just visit blogland. So here I am, clicking away on authors of comments and low and behold am finding some gorgeous new places. If you want a healthy dose of spring, please visit The Painted Garden. I am so happy to have found this beautiful place to visit. I was just thinking last night that I'd like to find as many painting blogs as I've found sewing and crafting ones. I definitely hit the jackpot with this one! This is just the inspiration I've needed. It's supposed to rain tomorrow and I think it will be a perfect day to paint.

Hi Phyllis,

I'm so glad you like The Painted Garden.I loved it as well. Her paintings are so beautiful.I would love to see some of your paintings sometime also.I need more time to work in my garden, I think I will ask for an extra day off so I can play outside.
Have a great day and thank-you for stopping by.

Hi Phyllis, I love all your crafts and your critters. I like to build things too and my mother is a master quilter (I'll have to post some pics of her work), but I'm not too crafty with the fabric or painting. Wish I could be though. Thanks for visiting my blog!

Thank you so much for visiting my blog. I am so glad to find you. You have a lovely blog, and I love your blog title. I can't wait to visit the blog you recommended. I love beautiful art. I've always dreamed of being able to create art, but sadly, I have no talent in that area. Have a great weekend. laurie

I've been to her blog before....it's WONDERFUL! And I'm so jealous of your 70's. We're still covered in snow.

Oh so wish I could paint. My mom does! She taught herself, guess I could try that too! I would like to be able to watercolor like Susan Branch!

Enjoyed my visit with you...now go paint and have fun!
